Scottish actor James McAvoy doesn’t think of himself as a leading man. The ‘Last Station‘ star – whose wife Anne-Marie Duff is currently pregnant with their first child – is aware he doesn’t look like a typical action hero but hopes his talents can help him win bigger Hollywood roles. He said: “The image I see in the bathroom mirror is not that of a leading man. It’s a pale Scottish guy who needs to go to the gym. “But hopefully there is a bit more to it than that. I hope that I bring a little bit of the internal life of the hero alive, which makes up for the fact he’s a pale weedy little git.” While he expects to be mocked for his looks, 30-year-old James – who first rose to fame in British TV show ‘Shameless’ – believes he has it easy as casting directors are much tougher with their scrutiny of actresses. He told Britain’s Elle magazine: “I’d hate to be a woman in this business. They’re not allowed to be imperfect. If you see an actress weighing over 90lbs being cast for anything, it’s considered totally edgy and ‘out there’ experimental cinema, which is ridiculous.” Despite enjoying success in movies such as ‘Atonement’ and ‘Wanted’, the actor insists he isn’t as rich as people may think. He said: “I don’t earn millions and millions of dollars. I’m self employed and I might stop working tomorrow for all I know. I’ve got to be frugal and be a tight Scotsman.”

Johnny Depp Naked

This year’s “Sexiest Man Alive” is once again the very sexy Johnny Depp.

Depp nudged aside Jackman to get the coveted endorsement from People magazine. This is the 46-year-old actor’s second time as “Sexiest Man Alive.” He also won in 2003.

Kate Coyne, senior editor at People, said on CBS’ “Early Show” that Depp has achieved an almost “iconic status in terms of sexiness.”

Says Coyne: “Johnny Depp was someone who was sexy 10 years ago. He’ll be sexy 10 years from now. He’s someone who appeals to multiple generations of women.”

Depp joins other double winners Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Richard Gere.

Sexy British actor – who plays vampire hunky heartthrob
Edward Cullen in the ‘Twilight’ movie series – would consider taking his clothes off if he thought the part required it.

Robert Pattinson would get naked on screen for the right role.
He said: “I think it would depend on what it is. And I don’t think a lot of people would really want to see that. I think it would ruin the illusion!”

Although he would be prepared to strip for a movie, the 23-year-old hunk admits he finds nudity embarrassing and struggled when he had to shoot explicit scenes for the 2008 movie ‘Little Ashes’, in which he played a young Salvador Dali.

He said in an interview with Britain’s Star magazine: “It’s funny because Spanish people have no problem with nudity at all. And English people obviously do have the most enormous problem with it.

“Little things, like when I saw my father getting changed for swimming, I was traumatised by it… I kind of freaked out a bit.”
