In March 2008, Alexander Skarsgard Joined the cast of True Blood, Alan Ball’s new vampire drama series for HBO, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The series, based on the Southern Vampire book series by Charlaine Harris, centers on the love story between a vampire, Bill (Stephen Moyer), and Sookie (Anna Paquin), a waitress who can read people’s minds. Alexander Skarsgard is giving True Blood fans around the country another reason to look forward to the summer of 2010. That’s when season three of the HBO hit returns – and when viewers will see a whole lot of this gorgeous actor. “There’s a lot of nudity,” the actor, who plays vampire Eric Northman, told Radar Online. “As far as Eric goes, there’s going to be a lot violence and a lot of sex – with women and men! So it should be interesting.”As for rumors that he’s dating Kate Bosworth, Skarsgard said there’s only two women in his life: “my mom and my sister.” Asked if sex scenes with co-star Anna Paquin is awkward (because she’s engaged to Stephen Moyer), Alex said “I love Stephen, we’re friends and I love Anna.
