Handsome Alexander Skarsgard was restrained by police at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival on Saturday for threatening paparazzi. The ‘True Blood’ actor was enjoying the Californian music event when he became infuriated with snappers who were continuously taking shots of the pair. Officers eventually intervened to stop the 33-year-old star from lashing out. The altercation was quickly resolved and no arrests were made. The incident was not the only thing to affected him, He was with  27-year-old Kate Bosworth - who had earlier been seen sitting on Alexander’s shoulders in the crowd - getting upset with a female festivalgoer who approached hunky Alexander and “groped” him. A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “It wasn’t pretty. They had been having such a good time, and then the girl grabbed Alexander. She was not best pleased at all.” How awful he can’t even go to a concert and have fun, maybe he should just bite them.

Paul Bettany hates Los Angeles because there are too many British people there. The London born actor is happy now that he lives in New York because he hated encountering his fellow countrymen who don’t understand U.S. humor. He said: “I think it’s a fallacy about the English sense of humor. Los Angeles is full of English people that say Americans have no sense of irony. Actually, Americans have a lot of irony, and you just haven’t noticed. That’s the one thing I loathed about Los Angeles - the (expletive) Brits. “I avoid the ex-pat community. You know what’s so depressing? Going to pubs in America to  watch football. It’s not the same and I don’t want to pretend it’s the same.” While the 38-year-old star settled quickly into life in New York, he admits he occasionally  wishes he was in his home country.

He added to GQ magazine: “I’d be watching the news, and they’d play my car crash, and every once in a while Kim Kardashian’s sister, Khloe would jump on TV and preach to me from the red carpet about how to live my (expletive) life. “And I’m so upset, man. I’m so angry. Because this accident was not caused by me. I got hit. I had a green. This (expletive) ran a red light. And he flipped my truck, and he shoveled it on my hand. And my fingers are in the street. they’re off, they’re under the truck door, man. “My hand is fake, dude. This is hip bone and the skin that was left over.” Ouch, but one really shouldn’t drink and drive.

Burt Reynolds’ manager says the actor has been released from a Florida hospital after a planned heart bypass operation. So news about his death have been exaggerated. Erik Kritzer said in a statement Wednesday that Reynolds had been scheduled for the operation for over a month. Kritzer says the star of “Smokey and the Bandit,” “Deliverance” and “Boogie Nights” told him that he has “a great motor with brand new pipes” and is “feeling great.” Last year, Burt spent time in a Florida rehab center seeking treatment for painkiller abuse following back surgery. Daniel Radcliffe is explaining why he has just filmed a public service announcement for The Trevor Project, the leading organization focusing on suicide prevention efforts among gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered youth. Because his parents were both actors, “I grew up knowing a lot of gay men and it was never something that I even thought twice about - that some men were gay and some weren’t,” the “Harry Potter” megastar said Friday. “And then I went to school and (for) the first time … I came across homophobia. … I had never encountered it before. It shocked me. “I have always hated anybody who is not tolerant of gay men or lesbians or bisexuals,” he added. “Now I am in the very fortunate position where I can actually help or do something about it.” “I have described myself as being gently eccentric’ and slightly different as a person just because I’ve had a very different set of influences growing up than anybody else in my peer group did,” the 20-year-old Radcliffe said. “I’ve always felt very lucky to have the life that I’ve had. I never had to cope with anything serious about my religion or sexual orientation or anything like that. So is Daniel telling us that he is gay?
