Matt Damon thinks James Bond is “repulsive”

Matt Damon

Matt Damon

The ‘Bourne Identity’ actor – who plays CIA agent Jason Bourne in three hit films – is bashing Fleming’s famous British spy, currently portrayed by Daniel Craig

He said: “He’s repulsive. Bond is an imperialist, misogynist, sociopath who goes around bedding women and swilling martinis and killing people. What a job.

“The movies have a formula, they stick to it, and it makes them a lot of money. They know what they are doing and they’re going to keep doing it.”

Damon was supposed to play Eliot Ness - a US agent who is famous for his efforts to enforce prohibition in Chicago during the 20s - in the new film ‘Torso’, but the movie has fallen victim to the current economic climate.

A source said: “Paramount are still keen to make ‘Torso’ but don’t want it to be an expensive risk so are looking at ways to bring it in for less money. Hopefully we will have the chance to see more of Matt and Daniel in any movie that they make.

Hottie Colin Farrell wins Golden Globe Award

Colin FarrellOprah Winfrey praised Kate Winslet’s “real” breasts.

Hot actor, Colin Farrell, 33, won a Golden Globe award as a hitman in the film called In Bruges. Holed up in Bruges, Belgium after a difficult job, two hit men begin to differ on their views of life and death as they become used to local customs. This comedy will make you laugh, if you can understand their accents. “In Bruges” is itself a goof, both diverting and forgettable. Despite the guns, genre posturing and self-consciously naughty shocks (jokes about racist dwarfs and fat Americans) it’s also unmistakably sincere.

Brendan Gleeson and Colin Farrell are a hoot and I might add very pleasing to the eye. This Hollywood bad boy knows how to entertain and he does it well. It’s easy for Colin to turn on heat; what’s hard for him as an actor is turning the temperature off, or at least down, as he does here — finding another way to connect to the material (and us) beyond the promise in his dark, fluttering lashes. His performance as Ray is as crudely conceived as it is finally sentimental (the same goes for the film), but it’s also winning because he makes us see the goofy side of seduction.

I bet you didn’t know this but Brad Pitt loves making arts and crafts to give and to receive tis holiday season. He and partner Angelina Jolie don’t want to spoil the kids. His new movie has grossed $20 million for his new flick The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

“We do exchange gifts, although we don’t feel any pressure to make them big or expensive gifts,” Pitt, 44, tells Hello! magazine. “The kids don’t ask for the big gifts for the reason that they don’t see a lot of the American cartoon television, which is packed with all those manipulative commercials for big toys that look so fantastic,” says papa Pitt. Says Pitt, “The rule is that everyone’s got to make something for someone else, you got to put time into it. Then, when they give to each other, it’s really sweet.”

He say where the clan will spend the holidays this year: “An undisclosed location!” Pitt demurs.
